American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging
The American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA) is committed to advancing the vision of healthy, affordable, ethical long-term care for America. The association represents 5,600 mission-driven, not-for-profit nursing homes, continuing care retirement communities, assisted living and senior housing facilities, and community service organizations. Every day, AAHSA's members serve one million older persons across the country. AAHSA has state association partners that represent AAHSA members in 39 states.

District of Columbia Long Term Care Ombudsman AARP
The Long Term Care Ombudsman program receives and investigates complaints about resident care in long-term care homes and community residence facilities, helps promote and ensure rights for residents, and gives information about long-term care/nursing homes and community facilities.

Lisner-Louise-Dickson-Hurt Home
The Lisner-Louise-Dickson-Hurt Home is a private, non-profit nursing facility for men and women who are District of Columbia residents of modest to lower income. Semi-private rooms, all meals, nursing care, medical expenses, social services, activities program, and housekeeping included. The facility is Medicaid and Medicare certified. Private insurance is accepted.

Mid-Atlantic Non-Profit Health and Housing Association
Organized in 1982, MANPHA's founding members formed the association to serve the interests of non-profit senior care providers in Maryland. A number of faith-based retirement communities and nursing homes were among its initial members. Today, MANPHA is the largest senior care provider association in Maryland & D.C., serving nearly 200 organizations.

Sibley Memorial Hospital
Sibley is a non-profit, full service 328-bed acute care community hospital serving the Washington, DC area. Our campus is also home to our assisted living residence, Grand Oaks and The Sibley Renaissance which houses our Center for Rehabilitation Medicine, Sibley Senior Services, skilled nursing care and a residential Alzheimer's unit.

The Methodist Home of the District of Columbia
The Methodist Home, a non-profit retirement community with independent, assisted living, nursing and rehabilitation services has proudly served the needs of senior adults for over one hundred years. The Methodist Home embraces seniors with all faiths, and upholds its 104-year-old mission, to provide a full, rich experience of comfort, security and independence at an affordable monthly fee.

Washington Home
The Washington Home and Hospice of Washington is a 198-bed long- term health care facility located in Northwest Washington, DC. The non-profit organization includes a 9-bed in-patient hospice unit; a 33 bed subacute unit; a 39 bed Alzheimer's and Dementia unit; and a 117 bed long-term care facility. The Home's mission is to provide quality health care and end-of-life services with compassion and innovation to foster dignity and independence in those they serve.
