Sarah's Circle, a 501(c) non-profit located in the Adams Morgan area of Washington, D.C., is an award-winning, affordable-housing residence and Wellness Center providing comprehensive programs and services for economically disadvantaged seniors. More than 14,000 senior citizens residing in Washington, D.C. live in abject poverty. Those trying to survive on social security usually have less than $30 per week after rent. They are forced to choose between food, heat, or their medications. They are alone. It is for these people that Sarah's Circle was created.
